    PADI IDC Malaysia

Your PADI IDC consist of 4 components:
PADI IDC Pre-study and Prep workshop 2 days
PADI Instructor Development Course IDC 11 days
Emergency First Response Instructor 2 days
PADI Instructor Examination IE 2 days

Our Go Pro PADI IDC run at a very relaxed pace, we believe there's no advantage in being stressed while learning. The PADI Instructor Development Courses is about learning, not about how little sleep you need. We do more than cover the minimum requirements of the course: Our presentations are dynamic and focus on life after the IE, not getting you through the IE. We promise the IE will be a natural and enjoyable part of the process of becoming an instructor with us in Malaysia.

Ideally you should start your IDC Preparation now.
The program begins with the optional but highly desirable IDC Pre-Study and Preparation Workshop. Preparation is the key to success at the IDC and IE. Preparing for a diving career is a considerable investment of time and commitment. The right preparation significantly reduces your IDC course load and allows you more time to assimilate and apply the information you learn. To be sure we offer this unique free workshop to all our AI, IDC and OWSI candidates to make sure that you ARE prepared before we start.

The PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) is split into two parts:
    Assistant Instructor (AI)
    Open water scuba instructor (OWSI)

These can be done separately or together as one unit. You must successfully complete the AI before going on to the OWSI program.

    Emergency first response instructor course:
CD Chong runs the Emergency First Responder Instructor course before or after IE. This is an optional program but is basically essential for any Professional Scuba Instructor.

    PADI Instructor Examination (IE)
The PADI Asia Pacific office in Australia runs the PADI Instructor Examination IE 7 times here in West and East Malaysia a year. After successful completion of the PADI Instructor Examination (IE), you will be awarded the PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification. We are proud of the fact that we still hold 100% first IE passing rate through our IDC Course. The experience we gained while preparing them, allowed us to understand all their needs in terms of proper information and guidance before, during and after their IDC course. You can be certain to receive an outstanding preparation for becoming a successful career diving Instructor with Chong.

In order to get the most out of your IDC you need to be well prepared and ideally should start your preparation now.

Please feel free to email Chong for question and enquires
